About our Team

pam and dublinPam: Our Race Director Pam is our running veteran having completed 16 marathons, 2 Half Ironmans and more 1/2 marathons than she can count. She spends her free time pampering Dublin, her Chocolate Lab and hanging out with her husband. Pam LOVES running and yoga, pacing for the training program, cheering on The SF Giants, and thinking of excuses as to why the marathon staff should go outside and play! The thing she loves best about The San Francisco Marathon® is “seeing people accomplish something they once thought was impossible. Run a marathon and you change your life!”

JojoJojo: A transplant to the Bay Area, Jojo is originally from rainy Seattle. She’s happy for the California weather while training for her 8th marathon and raising her new puppy. Jojo joined the San Francisco Marathon team in 2008 as an intern and now coordinates Marketing and the Expo! So, if you’re wondering who’s been “tweeting” you, it’s her! Jojo loves trying out new races, traveling, Healthy Cooking, Dark Chocolate, Yoga,Farmers Markets, and most of all- her pup Cooper!

LindsayLindsay: After years of spending her time working in music venues and at festivals, Lindsay happily joined the SF Marathon team as Logistics Coordinator in 2010, after discovering her love of running. She now spends her days as Entertainment and Outreach Coordinator, finding ways to bring art, music and new events to the Marathon. Lindsay loves traveling, getting down to great music, sushi and getting outside on the rare and wonderful, warm San Francisco day!

ErinErin: Erin joined The SF Marathon team  in October 2010 to coordinate the training program and the charity fundraising program. After graduating from Emory University in 2007, she spent time at Outdoor Outreach in San Diego and as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Botswana before relocating to the Bay Area. She enjoys running, biking, yoga, skiing, reading, climbing trees & mountains, and brussel sprouts.

RyanRyan: A New York native, Ryan has lived in SF for five years and joined The SF Marathon team just before the 2010 race. Most of his running currently consists of errands for the office, though he is a lover of wooded paths through California’s beauty. On an empty stomach, he teaches the marathon team yoga and secretly chants mantras for the office’s well being. He knows the best Chai shops in town and probably visits them too often.

Maddie: Came out to California from Denver, CO in 2007 to play D1 field hockey at Cal Berkeley. In her 4th year she joined The San Francisco Marathon Team as a marketing intern. After taking her final semester to play field hockey, she graduated, moved out to the BEAUTIFUL city of San Francisco, and came back to work for The SF Marathon team.  She is still involved with helping out Jojo with the marketing, as well as dipping her toes into all sorts of other projects. Maddie loves the snow, eating hambugers, baking cupcakes, and Pam’s dog Dublin. She is inspired daily by the SFM runners and hopes to run a half marathon in the near future!

Jason: If Jason isn’t in the office selling expo booths and working on new event development, then you’ll probably find him on his bike, riding through the Marin Headlands.  His passion is cyclocross and he races in just about every Northern California series.  He is also an avid runner, and loves running the trails and roads of Golden Gate Park.  Before joining the San Francisco Marathon team, Jason graduated from the University of Southern California and then spent five years in Cape Town, South Africa at the University of Cape Town. He then worked as the Head Brewer at a local microbrewery for four years.  He still enjoys making beer at home and teaching others how to brew.
