About Janey Keegan

Janey Keegan is our good luck charm, hailing from the lovely Ireland. An Irish native, she has been living in SF for over 5 years. She settled here after her BA in Outdoor Education took her travelling around the world. She has been running and racing for almost 5 years, and completed numerous half marathons, triathlons, duathlons and 3 full marathons to date, with another 2 and her main goal of her first 50 mile ultra in 2013. SFM 2012 was her first marathon and most amazing one as, after she crossed the finish line of the 26.2 SFM she was greeted with her medal and a gorgeous diamond ring and proposal!! (she said yes!!!) Janey is an avid rock climber, surfer and snowboarder. When she is not adventuring and pounding the pavement she can be found working with infants as a Childbirth Educator and Postpartum Doula. And if she's not doing any of those things, she can be found playing guitar and trad music and generally just embracing life :)
