About Paulette

Paulette grew up in a small Ohio town, attended undergrad at The Ohio State University, and went to graduate school at the University of Michigan for an M.S. in Cell & Developmental Biology. She and her husband relocated to San Jose, CA, in June 2011 and have been enjoying the amazing running weather. Paulette has been a fan of the SF Marathon events for years even while living in Michigan; her first race ever was the SF 5K in 2005 and first half the SF Half in 2009. The half marathon quickly became her favorite distance, although she enjoys the marathon for the extra challenge. She is super excited to be an ambassador for both the SF Marathon and Oiselle Team. Paulette's main goal for 2013 is to work on speed in the half marathon and to break the 2 hour barrier. In addition to running, she enjoys wine or beer tasting, blogging, skiing, hiking, and strength training.
