Welcome to our thousands-strong community of dedicated and engaged volunteers. We need you to make this monumental event happen: The SF Marathon – Sunday, July 29th. Get inspired by our 25,000 runners and their commitment to their physical, mental, and fundraising goals. This event relies on you to support our runners and the charities they support. Runners have raised over $11 million for local and global causes since our fundraising program began in 2002. You are helping to make 2012 our most successful in SF Marathon history!
Volunteer benefits include: bragging rights, fun times, meeting people from all over the country, meeting cool locals, gaining experience in sports and events management, AND a snazzy t-shirt that will let people know you care about community. You’ll also be invited to our appreciation party later in the year, where you can reconnect with other SF Marathon volunteers.

To volunteer all together, please email us with “Volunteer Group” in the subject line. Include your name, group size, group name, and interests in this email. This is great for friends, companies, families, and non-profit groups.
