Emily Favret

An ex-boyfriend actually told me he didn’t think I could run a half marathon, and so I trained for one to prove him wrong (don’t worry, we didn’t last too long after that). I come from a family of runners and was always the little girl holding posters for her mom and dad at the end of local races. Once I stopped playing team sports in college, running became the best – and easiest – way for me to stay fit. The more I got into it (thanks for the initial push, exboyfriendwhoshalnotbenamed) I was hooked and haven’t stopped.
