Keith Schlottman

I became interested in running during college when I began to participate in community events. I immediately realized that other runners were the type of folks I wanted to be around – friendly, encouraging, interested in a healthy lifestyle and working towards personal improvement. Even the most competitive racers almost always are happy to take the time to praise the efforts of slower runners. I love to push myself to run faster times, farther mileage, and to feel better when I do so. I also love to be part of the larger running community and encourage them to do the same. It’s so motivating to hear others talk about logging miles, achieving weight goals, completing their race, or achieving a new personal best – the positive mood that’s created by running is contagious!
