Operation Access
Thousands of people have no health insurance and have limited access to healthcare services. Low-income individuals are particularly hard hit. They are simply trying to make ends meet and an unforeseen health problem, like a hernia, can become a major problem.
With support from the community, Operation Access brings together medical professionals and hospitals to provide donated outpatient surgical and specialty care for the uninsured and underserved who live in Alameda, Contra Costa, Marin, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Sonoma counties.
Since 1993, OA has improved the lives of over 8000 Bay Area residents, restoring their health and their ability to work and to care for their families. You can help support OA and our amazing volunteers! Give the gift of hope and healing to your neighbors.
