COVID19 Support:

Spark SF Public Schools (Tax ID: 47-4568396)
COVID19 has affected our entire world and changed the way we live our daily lives, especially the lives of our children. They are not allowed to go to school, see their friends, go to parks to play and in many cases miss the meals that they get at school.
The San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) is a diverse school district that serves over 53,000 students across 119 school sites and provides 37,900 meals daily. SFUSD closed all of its schools beginning Monday, March 16. While schools are closed the following is needed:

  • Student nutrition: daily meals and mobile refrigeration – $314,053
  • School hygiene: cleaning supplies and equipment, custodial staff – $615,000
  • Online learning: software, technology, and internet hotspots – $3,625,000

Spark* SF Public Schools, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to building private partnerships in support of the San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) to ensure that each and every child receives the quality instruction and equitable support required to thrive in the 21st century.

The United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) (EIN number is 13-1760110)
As the number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases has soared, so have the needs for children and families around the world. Hundreds of millions of children are now forced to remain indoors. Parents and caregivers are working remotely whenever they can. Borders have been closed. Lives have been upended.

Contributions at the global level allow UNICEF to respond rapidly and strategically to where the needs are greatest. They give UNICEF the greatest level of flexibility to deliver timely and effective assistance to the most vulnerable children in partnership with UN agencies, governments and the private sector.
