Spectator Information

You don’t have to run to be a part of the The San Francisco Marathon experience. We encourage friends and family of runners and the San Francisco community to participate on Race Day. Your presence and encouragement makes a huge and meaningful impact on our runners on Race Day. From cheer locations to how to cheer on your runner all along the course, we hope the following information helps you prepare for race day.

Stay Connected Throughout Race Weekend

The San Francisco Marathon’s 2016 Race App, Powered by Fitbit empowers spectators to stay connected with their runners and our race throughout race weekend. From live runner tracking to key race information, our free app provides a world class experience for runners and spectators alike. Our app makes it easy for friends and family to track their runners during their race and access key race information in the palm of their hand.
