Course Highlights
Toe the start line under the careful watch of the Bay Bridge and begin your tour of San Francisco as the sunrise draws near. Run along the Bay and through Fisherman’s Wharf, past the Marina Green and across Crissy Field as the sun rises behind you, giving the Golden Gate Bridge its unmistakable fiery-red color. It’s waiting there for you; charge ahead and cross the bridge whether you’re accompanied by the sound of fog horns or stunning views of the open ocean.
The first leg of your bridge run ends with a one mile downhill toward Sausalito landing along the Bay. Head out to Cavallo Point with amazing views of San Francisco across the Bay, then head up and under the bridge to begin your journey back into San Francisco. Run through the Presidio and across the Richmond District neighborhood, into Golden Gate Park and down the legendary Haight St. Continue your journey across the city, through the Mission District, along newly developed Mission Bay, and past the home of the Golden State Warriors and The San Francisco Giants. Greet the Bay Bridge as it welcomes you to the finish line and listen to the cheering spectators that are ready to celebrate your victory with you!
