2) Replace BOTH your race shirt and medal with 2 trees
3) Keep your shirt and medal, but help us counter our carbon footprint by adding a tree at checkout

Why trees matter

Planting trees is one of the best things you can do to fight climate change, as they remove carbon dioxide from the air as they grow. They also provide a habitat for a wide range of the most endangered and loved species and create clean air for us to breathe. Your tree will be planted in the US and grow as part of a forest, full of native broadleaf tree species.

How it works

  • Register for the race
  • If you want to plant trees with us, opt-in to replace your race shirt or medal with planting 1 tree (there’s no additional cost).
  • Replace both your race shirt and participation medal to plant 2 trees at no additional cost.
  • If you treasure your race swag but you also want to assist in our efforts, you can still opt to add a tree to your registration for $7.
