Tech Center

In 2011, we added a Tech Center to the Expo Experience and in 2012 we added in an experiential zone with the latest and greatest technology companies for endurance athletes. In the technology capital of the US, we believe in showcasing the best tools and programs for runners at the Expo. In the Tech Center you can post updates to Facebook and Twitter and see them publish live to our SF Marathon feeds, join our Ambassadors for Meet-Ups and Tweet-Ups, get your photo taken with friends, participate in contests and giveaways and more! This is a place to get social, share special moments from Race Week and learn about some of the coolest new fitness technologies around.

Runner’s Lounge hosted by Sports Basement

Relax with other runners, families, and friends in the Runner’s Lounge.  Runners and their loved ones can enjoy sign-making, watch the Course Video, stretch, and pick up running and fitness magazines to read and/or take home.  Get in the spirit for Race Day with the Sports Basement Crew.

Used Sneaker Donation:

Donate your used sneakers at our Expo! Clothes-pin will have a booth outside in front of the Expo and will be accepting your donations on both Friday and Saturday. All items collected will be donated to local shelters after the race.
