Race Day Goodies
For all you racers that have been training for so long, we want your finish line to be a celebration, filled with all sorts of goodies! When you arrive to the finish line you will be greeted with water and heatsheets, and most importantly your finisher’s medal!
The first half finishers will be treated to Metroelectro water, Panera Bread scones, plums, bananas, Zico Coconut Water, and Irish Coffee for those of you who are over 21.
The full marathon and 2nd half marathon finish line will be stocked with similar treats; Metroelectro Water, Zico Coconut Water, Jamba Juice, plums and bananas, scones from Panera Bread, and a [intlink id=”4023″ type=”page”]Sierra Nevada Beer Tent[/intlink] for those 21 and over.
Now for the kids: [intlink id=”862″ type=”page”]The Munchkin Fun Run[/intlink] area will have Sun Tropics juice, snacks from Pirates Booty, Tacolicious tacos, Pretzel Chips, California Raisins, and Giddy Snacks! Also, coaches from a kids outdoor club will lead post race games! Then, your munchkins can decorate their race shirts with a pedal powered paint station.
If you are running the first half, make sure to take the shuttle bus from Golden Gate Park back to the Ferry Building to join the festivities at the Main Finish Line. You won’t want to miss all of the entertainment and fun!
Come celebrate your accomplishments at the [intlink id=”4023″ type=”page”]Sierra Nevada Beer Garden[/intlink] or by listening to LoCura at the[intlink id=”878″ type=”page”] live entertainment[/intlink] stage at the Finish Line! Get your photo taken in front of the iconic SF Cable Car or our SF Marathon Mural, check live results in the Results tent, and sample some great products from our Vendors in Marathon Village. The awards will be given out a bit later in the morning, so come watch and congratulate our event winners and age group winners! For those of you who have completed our [intlink id=”4054″ type=”page”]Half it All Challenge[/intlink] this year, don’t forget to pick up your medal in the Information Tent. Finally, if you’re looking for the elite experience on Race Day, there are still about 25 tickets left to the post race[intlink id=”1386″ type=”page”] VIP party [/intlink]at Perry’s on the Embarcadero. To purchase a ticket, just log into your account and add it on.
