Race Highlights
Our 5K runs through miles of waterfront that draw millions of visitors each year. Take in views of the Bay, the Bay Bridge, Treasure Island, Coit Tower and much more. Runners enjoy San Francisco’s iconic backdrop while earning a spot at the finish line festival in front of the Ferry Building. Our 5K Race invites runners of all levels to experience our fast, flat course and participate in the finish line celebration.

Sunday 5K Race Details

    Start Location: The Sunday 5K starts at 9:00 am (Start times subject to change) @ Mission Street and The Embarcadero, San Francisco, California 94105

  • Course Limits
    Course will be open for 1 hour. The race will be timed and results will be tracked.
  • Strollers are Welcome
    Strollers are welcome on the Sunday 5K course and asked to line up with the last corral for safety purposes.
  • Dogs are Welcome
    We’re opening up our Sunday 5K race to our runners’ canine companions; in other words, your doggo is welcome to run this race distance with you!Of course, to keep everyone happy and healthy, we had to put in place a few rules in order to guarantee everybody a race experience as great as it can be. To help us ensure safety on the course, we kindly ask that you follow these three simple rules:1. Please consider how your dog interacts with other people and dogs. If you’re not 100% sure about how your dog will react to your fellow runners and other dogs, please leave them at home and enjoy a run with them another time. Please note that you’re expected to stay toward the end of the pack and to clean up after your pet.2. If your pup is coming with you, please keep their leash as short as possible AT ALL TIMES, not just when you see or run with other participants.3. Your doggo needs to stay leashed during the whole event while on-site.We will have doggy aid stations at the finish line with plenty of water for the brave, victorious doggos! Race registration for your four-legged friend(s) is free; they can just show up and run. Please note that at this time, the race is open only to dogs. We’re sure that your cat might be a sprinter and your parrot might love flying along but for the safety of everyone, enjoy their company during your shake-out run rather than during the main event.
  • Water/Fuel Stops
    The Sunday 5k includes 1 water stop where you can find water, electrolytes, medical, and toilets.
  • Awards
    The top 3 overall Men, Women, and NB+ winners of the 1st Half Marathon will receive a set of (4) custom slate coasters engraved with their winning results. *Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for results to finalize. Division winners will receive a custom slate coaster, engraved with their winning results. *Please allow 3 to 6 weeks for results to finalize.
